The Five Gates
To walk through before the fire goes out
Long before psychology, long before self-help, long before we were trying to optimise our mornings or heal our inner children…
Human beings told stories.
Around fires.
In caves.
Under stars.
And every culture, without exception, told the same kinds of stories.
Stories about heroes.
Stories about tricksters.
Stories about lovers.
Stories about creators and destroyers.
Stories about magicians who crossed between worlds.
What’s interesting is this:
These stories didn’t exist to entertain.
They existed to explain something that made no sense.
Why intelligent humans sabotage themselves.
Why we repeat patterns we understand perfectly well.
Why insight alone doesn’t change behaviour.
Why we can want something desperately — and still resist it.
Our ancestors didn’t say:
“Oh, you’re traumatised.”
Or, “You have attachment issues.”
They said:
“A god has hold of you.”
Or:
“A spirit is driving the chariot.”
What they were describing was not madness.
It was a pattern… energy moving through the psyche in predictable ways.
Today we call those patterns archetypes.
Not because they’re mystical, but because they’re universal.
Every archetype forms at the exact moment life becomes too intense to meet directly.
In the From Fear to Flow workshop, we’ll meet five of them.
Not as labels, or diagnoses, but as ways we learned to survive being alive.
They worked for a while, but not any more.
The old world is dying. It’s time to re-write stories for the one that is coming…
Join me in Greece. May 27th - June 3rd - what better place to explore archetypes than the land where they were born.
Your next chapter doesn’t have to be driven by fear. It could be driven by clarity, intuition, and flow.
